REQ.1 is a non-profit organization that provides victim-survivors of gender-based violence with safe and supportive outlets for physical activity, self-expression, and community connections. It is built on a socially responsible framework dedicated to healing, recuperation, and transition. REQ.1 empowers its participants to transcend trauma and heal through movement and art.
Provider may disclose Personal Information in connection with conducting audits, responding to legal and/or regulatory requirements, enforcing Provider's policies, or in responding to complaints or safety or security concerns. Provider may also share your Personal Information with: (a) members of Provider's corporate family and any successors; (b) other companies or organizations that work with, or on behalf of Provider to provide products and services; (c) law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity; and/or (d) other business entities, in connection with the sale, assignment, merger or other transfer of Provider's business to such business entity. Provider will disclose Personal Information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Each time a visitor comes to the Sites, Provider collects some information to improve the overall quality of the visitor's online experience, including product/service monitoring, product/service improvement, and targeted advertising. Such information may include referral data (e.g., the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking through to the Sites) and your web browser and operating platform type.
- Web Server Logs and IP Addresses: An Internet Protocol ("IP") address is a number that automatically identifies the computer/machine you have used to access the Internet. The IP address enables our server to send you the webpages that you want to visit, and it may disclose the server owned by your Internet Service Provider. Provider may use IP addresses to conduct analyses and performance reviews of the Sites and to administer the Sites.
Some of Sites' web pages may use web beacons in conjunction with cookies to compile aggregate statistics about usage of the Sites. A web beacon is an electronic image (also referred to as an "action tag," "single-pixel," or "clear GIF") that is commonly used to track the traffic patterns of users from one web page to another in order to maximize web traffic flow and to otherwise analyze the effectiveness of web sites. Some web beacons may be unusable if you elect to reject their associated cookies.
Provider has established reasonable precautions to protect collected Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, which include contractual, administrative, physical, and technical steps. Technical measures include use of firewall protection and in some instances may include encryption technology. Although Provider takes reasonable precautions to assess the reliability of such technology, it relies on the statements of the vendors of those products and services as part of its security evaluation. Please note that although Provider has endeavored to create secure and reliable Sites for users, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to/from the Sites cannot be guaranteed.
Provider urges you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet.
Provider understands the importance of protecting children's privacy in the interactive online world. The Sites are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children 13 years of age or younger. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13.
At certain locations on the Sites where information about you is requested, the Sites provide you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from Provider. You may also review and request changes to your Personal Information that Provider has collected, including the removal of your Personal Information from Provider's databases using any of the following options:
